2024 Review of Previous Chases

TORNADO 286: Was a brief / likely non-mesocyclone / tornado along the flanking line of the storm that produced the Bird City, KS tornado (Tornado number 59). This occurred about 15 miles north northeast of Edson.
TORNADO 287: Was added after video and radar review suggested a tornado embedded in rain just south of I-70 to the east southeast of Brewster, KS.
TORNADO 288: A weak, brief wisp of a vortex occurred just east of Hampton, NE.
TORNADOES 289 AND 290 (below) were brief tornadoes that started what turned out to be an impressive day in eastern Colorado. Both of these occurred near Ramah, CO.
TORNADO 291 was a short-lived tornado about midway between Coats and Medicine Lodge, KS.
TORNADO 292 is not only the largest of these additions, but one of the largest on the entire list. This F4, monster of a tornado tracked through Hallam, NE after dark. My video was shot from the town of Clatonia looking west. Clatonia is located just southwest of Hallam.
